Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the sports of combat. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd continued to build on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She knocked out all her opponents in the first round. Then, she went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took her next bout against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her off in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by using her ground and pound techniques, resulting in the TKO 2nd round win. Her dominance continued and she won a much more convincing victory when she fought Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round and got an outstanding performance bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her first major match. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
